While with my girlfriend i wanted to see if people would face us sitting on the train or not.
We sat in the un-moveable seat in the front facing the carriage and nobody would sit of in front of us, we changed trains to try again when it was less crowded and when we boarded the train we sat down first facing the opposite way the train was facing, the first person to sit down turned their seat to face away from us even though the train was moving the other way and as more people got on the did the same if they were sitting in the same isle as us. So basically people didnt want to face a couple on the train to avoid awkwardness.
